Yeny is a Cuban-American graduate from Florida International University with a double major in English and Anthropology and a minor in History. Currently, she teaches U.S History to incredible young adults, encouraging them to make modern connections. She can be summed up in the things she loves: her son, her soulmate, her puppy Maxy (short for Maxine), her loud Cuban family, café con leche, reading, writing, and Buffy the Vampire the Slayer.
