Jenniea champions stories that invite readers to learn, laugh, and feel deeply. She’s especially drawn to projects that hold space for healing generational trauma, often through the power of love, joy, and resilience.
Her path to publishing was anything but linear: before stepping into the literary world, Jenniea was an ESL teacher in Japan/ NYC and a bookseller at Kinokuniya Bookstore, where her days were shaped by conversations around language, identity, and the magic of finding the right story at the right time. Whether she’s supporting clients through edits or helping shape a project’s future, Jenniea brings care, curiosity, and a fierce commitment to every collaboration.
Off the clock, you’ll likely find her bingeing mystery documentaries and animation, or getting lost in yet another book. She is also the secretary for People of Color In Publishing. To learn more about her visit www.jennieacarter.com
