Catherine Siphron

Catherine teaches at Campbell Hall, a K-12 private school in Los Angeles, where she shares the transformative power of meditation. She is a certified mindfulness instructor through the UCLA Mindfulness Awareness Research Center, and she studied under Susan Kaiser Greenland at Inner Kids. Catherine earned two Bachelor’s degrees from UC Berkeley in English and Art History and an MA in English from Middlebury College. At Campbell Hall, she created a first-of-its-kind elective for teens, The Science of Mindfulness, and regularly leads meditation practice for faculty and parents; she also speaks and facilitates practice, both locally and nationwide.
She applies what she teaches to her own life, meeting each moment with awareness and awe. Her mindfulness series for Audible Originals, Press Pause: A Young Person’s Guide to Managing Life’s Challenges, uses research, along with her passion and experience to inspire adolescents to do the same. Catherine lives with her German Shepherd whose crooked-toothed smile brings her joy.
