Lauri Johnston is a neurodivergent artist from Austin, Texas. Her playful illustration work incorporates hand lettering with flowing forms, vibrant colors and joyful comic-style characters. Drawn to infinite creative pursuits, Lauri is often playing away in her ceramics studio, designing new beds in her garden, and finding novel ways to move her short frame up rock climbing walls. Her perfect day would include breakfast tacos, a hike with her husband and two boys, a dip in Barton Springs, probably more tacos, and a nice spot to sit and watch the sun set.
