Keifer Ludwig has come a long way from writing elementary school plays where he blatantly pirated Star Wars. Now, as Subrights Associate and Literary Assistant to Suzie Townsend, he is a fierce advocate for New Leaf’s authors, licensing their stories to publishers all around the world.
He enjoys fast-moving genre fiction that authentically balances darkness with humor and hope. He’s particularly drawn to SFF, Romance, and Mystery/Thriller stories – anything that features a unique new voice and/or is generally odd. He’s a big fan of radical kindness, board games, sports (Go Nets!), and hanging with the family dogs.
Prior to New Leaf, Keifer worked at Random House Children’s Books and Vigliano Associates. And before that, he graduated from Oberlin College with a BA in Religion.
