jarrett hill is an award-winning journalist, speaker, and media trainer focused on the intersections of pop culture and politics. he regularly guests on msnbc and cnn international, and contributes to the new york times, variety, nbc news, and channel q, among others.
jarrett has served as the president of the national association of black journalists’ los angeles chapter (nabjla) since 2021 and vp since 2018. through nabjla, he has promoted diversity in the newsroom and courtroom, from the diversity in leadership panel with the la times to reforming state legislation with the lapd.
