Kalie Cassidy is the author of the breakaway hit, In the Veins of the Drowning and its sequel In the Wake of the Ruined. Prior to writing she worked as a professional theater actor, acting teacher, and coach in her native Southern California. She now resides in the Midwest with her family and rambunctious golden retriever.
