Sierra Elmore (she/her) is a YoungArts-award winning author of YA and adult novels that depict the intersections of trauma, ambition, and adolescence.
Elmore received her BA in Sociology from Arcadia University, where she contributed to Because Arcadia and began volunteering for the Crisis Text Line. She has conducted and presented academic research on media representation of mental illness, as well as relational aggression among teenage girls.
Elmore resides in New York City, where she works in human resources for a financial services firm. In her free time, she enjoys snuggling with her cat, exploring beautiful places, and playing piano.
