J.P. Takahashi is a kidlit writer and a produced playwright. She studied English Lit and Japanese Studies at New York University and the City University of New York’s Hunter College. By day, J.P. is a children’s literary agent at KT Literary.
As an African American and Japanese storyteller, J.P.’s work explores Black and Asian solidarities and intersectional identities across the board. She lives in Manhattan, surrounded by books.
