Erin Becker writes middle grade, YA, essays, criticism, and poetry. Her debut novel, PLAYBOOK FOR IMPERFECT PLANETS, will be published by Penguin Workshop in 2024. Her work has appeared in Barrelhouse Reviews, Lambda Literary, and Ms. Magazine, among other outlets. She holds her MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults from VCFA and her BA in English from UNC-Chapel Hill, where she was a Morehead-Cain Scholar. Erin grew up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She lived in Patagonia for several years before moving to Washington, DC, where she works in marketing and runs a storytelling consultancy.
