Christine LeVeaux Haley is a professor, teaching Black Political Thought at a Historically White Institution in the South. Tough crowds are kind of her thing. When she is not teaching, she is writing, speaking, thinking, and learning. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Christine received her bachelor’s degree from Spelman College and her PhD from Louisiana State University. She has published in scholarly journals and has appeared as a political commentator on the local affiliates of ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, PBS, as well as CNN.
Christine is a faculty member in the Honors College at the University of Houston and lives in Houston Metro with her husband and children.
