Girl Gone Golden

Girl Gone Golden

I’m a Black woman born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. I’ve always loved history. When I was a child, I would cut out pictures of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X from Jet and Ebony magazines and create picture books. As a young adult, I entered the workforce and landed in retail. I’ve worked for luxury brands such as American Girl and Armani. I adopted a chihuahua named Spike, who is 13 years old. Spike and I have lived together in bliss for 11 years and counting. In my leisure time, I love a good nap, binge watching vintage tv shows and playing The Sims. I have a beautiful, massive digital collection, but I also collect Black memorabilia. I have hopes of one day owning my own Black History museum. I have turned my small one bedroom apartment into a gallery of sorts. I have over 150 Black history photos displayed in my home. I’m blessed to have my passion be my hobby. Being from Indianapolis, automatically makes me a food connoisseur. I’m a December Sagittarius and believe my Christmas and birthday gift should be separate. My vivid imagination, praying and manifestation have landed me where I want to be in life.
