Sophie (she/her) was born in Northern China and immigrated to Canada at a young age with
her family. Starting from ESL class, to middle school, to high school and beyond, she devoured all sorts of books, yearning to find herself in the pages. Now, she is a pharmacist in Vancouver, British Columbia, and pursues her passion writing children’s books.
She’s currently working on a contemporary fantasy middle grade novel about a vampire who unknowingly befriends a vampire hunter; and a second middle grade novel about a Chinese Canadian protagonist who searches for her mother’s lost story.
