Sharon Kurtzman

Debut author Sharon Kurtzman worked for twelve years in television marketing before tackling her dream of becoming a writer. A regular contributor to The Huffington Post and BetterAfter50.com, she’s had two fiction pieces nominated for the Pushcart Prize and her work has appeared in numerous literary journals, including Hippocampus Magazine, South Writ Large, Cleaver Magazine, Crack the Spine, Every Writer’s Resource: Stories, The News and Observer and Chicken Soup for the Soul: Inspiration for Writers. She was a top-fifty finalist in the second season HBO/Miramax screenwriting contest Project Greenlight and is currently a member of the Women’s Fiction Writers Association. Sharon lives in North Carolina with her family.
