Sam Marsden went to drama school in London, but now prefers to act out characters from behind her laptop. She studied International Development Studies and Sociology at London Metropolitan University and loves to explore what she learnt there in fictional worlds. Even if it is scary!
Sam was a drama teacher and ran one of the UK’s largest regional Youth Theatres. Now she writes for The Stage newspaper, creates resources for drama teachers and has a non fiction book being published by Bloomsbury titled “100 Acting Exercises for 8 – 18 Year Olds.’
Sam’s dyslexic and believes this helps her to write as dyslexic people tend to think outside of the box. She’s from the UK and lives in South West France, and can often be found driving past châteaus while singing along to musicals.
