Rebekah McKendry is an award-winning writer, film director, and podcaster. She most recently directed the horror features Glorious (2022, starring JK Simmons). Rebekah began her film career working for Fangoria Entertainment and went on to become Editor-in-Chief for Blumhouse Productions. She has directed many award-winning short films, music videos, and horror features, as well as penning scripts for Universal, AMC, and many others. Rebekah has written multiple books including several additions of the Hellraiser graphic novel series and the YA horror series PRETTY EVIL, coming Fall 2024 from Simon and Schuster’s McElderry Press. Additionally, Rebekah is a co-host of Fangoria’s Colors of the Dark Podcast as well as several other award-winning shows including Blumhouse’s Shock Waves and Nightmare University.
