Jasmin Hernandez is an Afro-Latinx native New Yorker born to Dominican parents, who has been consuming fashion magazines since she was seven. Since graduating from Parsons School of Design, she has worked as a fashion show producer and a photo editor at outlets like The New York Times Magazine, New York Magazine, and the New York Post. She is the EIC and Founder of Gallery Gurls, a digital space for women, queer, and artists of color, which has been mentioned in Vogue, Artnet, etc Her writing on style and culture has appeared in Bustle, The Cut, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, among others. She is constantly seeing spectacular art both locally and globally. Her debut book called We Are Here about influential BIPOC artists & art entrepreneurs will be released by Abrams in February 2021.
