Dana Haynes

Novelist Dana Haynes has had seven mysteries and thrillers published, including three at Bantam Books under the pseudonym Conrad Haynes, and four at the Minotaur Line from St. Martin’s Press. They include CRASHERS (2010), BREAKING POINT (2011), ICE COLD KILL (2013) and GUN METAL HEART (2014).

His eighth novel is scheduled for release in fall 2018.

CRASHERS was named best mystery of the Pacific Northwest by the Friends of Mystery in 2010. His first screenplay, an adaptation of CRASHERS, made it to the semifinals of the Nichols Fellowship (The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences) in 2005.

Haynes lives in Portland, Ore., with his wife, mystery novelist Katy King, and their cat, Glamour. He formerly served as speechwriter and communications director for the mayor of Portland. He has spent much of his life as a reporter, columnist and editor for weekly and daily newspapers in Oregon.
