My name is Coco Ouwerkerk, also known as “Colourbee”, born and raised in the Netherlands.
I am 29 years old and am currently working fulltime as a Comicbook Artist.
I graduated in 2016 for 2D Animation with a Bachelor in Comic Design.
During the period from 2016 to 2017, I created 4 Small Press albums, did freelance work and personal projects on the side. The album “Acception – #Losers”, was my first album to be published with Syndikaat, a publisher in the Netherlands, at the end of 2017. In 2018, “Acception” got picked up by WEBTOON to become an official webcomic on their platform. “Acception” has started posting since January 2019 and is ongoing. Up until now, the physical album of “Acception” is only available in Dutch in the Netherlands.
